Colonia Del Rey is a retro/classic rv park with that “homey” feel. Not one of those “cookie cutter” parks. As a seasonal visitor, I’ve got to know some of the year rounders and what a community they have here. With activities like bingo, card and game nights, happy hours and pot luck dinners which usually start up in the fall, you get to meet people from all over!

Clean, peaceful established park with a saltwater pool, trees, updated wifi, full hook ups. 8 miles to the beach, half a mile to a large grocery store. Owners are involved, constantly updating and kind. Staff is knowledgeable and customer service oriented.

Highly recommend! This is our 1st time staying here. Nice clean place with lots of activities to participate in. People who run it are very friendly & helpful. The lots are spacious and have great concrete pads with patio & picnic table. The dog park is nice & very well kept. Great pool, laundry facility & recommend room. We have already made many great friends. We are staying a month and plan to come back for 3 months on our next visit.

Community. Finally! The residence and staff of this park are the definition of top notch. From an organized mail room to great security this is the only rv park I never worried if I locked my front door when I left. Very safe and friendly I had the best experience here. Diane at the front office is a god send and just the sweetest most helpful person. Till next time and THANK YOU!

Friendly staff and nice layout. We were brought to our nicely shaded spot and really appreciated the support. Pool area is clean and neat. Dog park is also clean and a perfect size to do business. Close to H‑E‑B and fuel and only minutes across the bay to the beach.

Loved it here!! This is our 1st time staying here.We stayed for a month and made many friends very quickly. The staff are very friendly & helpful. The lots are spacious and have patio & picnic table. Great pool, laundry facility & club house. Lots of activities, including pot luck dinners on Wednesdays. We made many great friends. We look forward to returning.

Colonia del Rey Activities

Colonia del Rey features a full set of activities organized by our staff Activities Director during the Winter season. Within the RV park, we have the all time favorite game night with poker, cribbage, hand & foot, and bridge tournaments. You can find a “Texas Hold ‘Em” Tournament almost every week or try your hand at bingo. We also have a number of different ways of playing dominos. Let us spoil you with countless things to do.

Local Activities

Outside of Colonia del Rey RV Park, activities include walks along the beach on The Padre Island National Seashore or visit some of our main attractions such as the USS Lexington, The Texas State Aquarium, deep sea & Bay fishing, Whataburger Field, home of the Corpus Christi Hooks, Museums, The Americanbank Center and the Botanical Gardens. The list of attractions and activities is endless so come enjoy Corpus Christi or sit back and relax!
